Today has been nothing short of LONG!!  I was pretty sure it was never going to end.  In the middle of the craziness I decided to go be creative its really the only time I can do exactly what I want the way I want it.  I sat down and looked at my makeup and went to town.  I didnt even know where I was going with it and thought it looked completely ludicrous but then realized its my face im the one that has to see it and who cares what any one else thinks.  My 4 year old came in and I asked what he thought of it and he said I looked like a bunny rabbit.  Could have been a lot worse lol.  Here is the look I hope you like it!  I can try to redo it on cam if you would like me to otherwise here's the pic!  Hope you guys have a nice quiet rest of the day its just about the kids bedtime and finally mommy time!  Click the link to see the look and find out everything I used!

BLEACHING YOUR HAIR AT HOME

So because paying $130 every time I got my hair done wasn't in the cards anymore I decided to take matters into my own hands, literally.  I YOU-TUBED how to bleach hair at home and couldn't really find anything so I went from what I knew.  Peroxide lightens hair, look for that.  And that's what I did.  I had seen in one video where a girl said she used a certain brand so I did some research and went out and bought it.  I never do anything someone tells me to do, except maybe for this, okay and maybe a few other things but other than that I don't!  Here is a list of everything I used and how I did it.  It takes some trial and error especially if you have dark hair.  Which in all honesty if you have dark hair and you're trying to go blonde I would go to a salon first and at least get it professionally lightened before doing it this way.  Only because you may not get the color you wanted right away.   Happy Dying (Hair dying not the other kind!!)

HOW TO DO IT:

1.DRAPE TOWEL OVER SHOULDERS, BRUSH AND PART HAIR DOWN THE MIDDLE.  MIX BOX DYE AS THE DIRECTIONS IN BOX STATE.  

2.START DOWN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR HEAD SQUIRTING THE PRODUCT AND RUBBING IT INTO THE HAIR. PART IN LITTLE SECTIONS AND GET EVERY BIT OF ROOT THAT WOULD SHOW. MAKING SURE YOU GET AROUND HAIRLINE AND EARS.  EVEN BEHIND YOUR EARS.

3.  SINCE MY HAIR WAS ALREADY PRETTY BLONDE I DID ALL OF MY ROOTS LEAVING IT ON 20 TO 30 MINUTES AS THE BOX SAYS.  WHEN 5 MINUTES WERE LEFT I USED THE REST OF THE DYE AND BROUGHT IT ALL THE WAY DOWN MY HAIR.  IF YOU ARE DOING THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME I WOULD SUGGEST DOING YOUR WHOLE HEAD ALL AT ONCE LEAVING IT ON THE FULL TIME, UNTIL YOU GET THE DESIRED COLOR YOU WANT.  WHICH MAY TAKE A COUPLE TIMES.

4.  WASH COLOR OUT AFTER TIME IS UP AND MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS GONE. TOWEL DRY AND MIX TONER AND DEVELOPER.  THE REASON I USE THE TONER IS BECAUSE I WANT BRIGHT WHITE BLEACH BLONDE AND I DON'T WANT ANY BRASSY, GOLDEN IN THERE AT ALL.  THE TONER TAKES CARE OF THAT AND TAKES THE YELLOW AWAY THAT THE HAIR WILL BE WHEN ITS DONE.  

5.  MIX WHOLE BOTTLE OF TONER TO THE WHOLE BOTTLE OF 4 OZ CREME DEVELOPER. I USED 20 VOLUME BECAUSE IT WORKS WELL AND GIVES ME DESIRED COLOR I WANT.  IT WILL START OUT WHITE BUT WHILE YOU WAIT AND IT SITS IT WILL TURN PURPLE. AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE.  DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH YOU WANT YOUR HAIR TONED AND HOW BLONDE IT ALREADY IS, YOU DON'T NEED TO LEAVE IT ON TOO LONG.  IT SAYS TO LEAVE IT ON 30 MINUTES.  FOR ME THAT IS WAY TOO LONG.  I LEAVE IT ON FOR 15 MINS AND REALLY WATCH IT BECAUSE IT WILL TURN YOUR HAIR PURPLE.  WASH OUT AFTER DESIRED AMOUNT OF TIME AND ENJOY!  DON'T GET UPSET IF IT DOESN'T WORK RIGHT AWAY, IT HONESTLY WASN'T PERFECT THE FIRST TIME I DID IT AND BY THE SECOND TIME IT WAS PERFECT.  MY HAIR IS SERIOUSLY LIKE WHITE.  LET ME KNOW IF YOU GUYS HAVE ANY QUESTIONS THAT I MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. HOW TO CLEAN YOUR BRUSHES

OLIVE OIL AND EGG HAIR MAGIC!!

Since I mentioned it in one of my videos I have been having a lot of questions on how to do it.  So here we go.  The famous egg and olive oil treatment.  I know I have posted an egg and coconut oil recipe for your hair but this is honestly way better for my hair and leaves it soooooooo shiny and soft, it feels like a whole new head of hair. This may leave your hair stiff but don't worry as soon as you wash it out it is fine its just because of the egg drying.

WHAT YOU NEED:

*BOWL TO MIX

*1 WHOLE EGG

*EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL

*FORK

*PLASTIC BAG

HOW TO DO IT:

*I pour the olive oil in a bowl and put it in the microwave for about 15 to 20 seconds.  Really I just want the oil warm so it will open up the hair and soak in better.  Its VERY important to make sure you don't make it too hot.  You don't want to burn yourself or scramble the egg.  Carefully stir the egg and olive oil together.  Adding more oil if needed to coat all your hair

*This is very messy so I make sure I do it over a sink or in the tub.  Coat every bit of hair focusing on the ends first.  Wrap in plastic bag so that it keeps the heat in and it soaks into the hair (same reason you want the oil to be warm) leave it on for as long as you want I would say a minimum of 30 minutes.  I usually leave mine on for 2 hours as part of my Sunday night pampering time.  What I do is wrap my hair in the plastic bag, put a shower cap over that and then put a towel over that like I would when I get out of the shower.  Its easier for me to be able to do other things this way and I know that it is for sure going to soak and work because I have the warmth trapped with the towel just to kind of tie everything together.

*After desired amount of time, rise and wash hair like normal.  I put my leave in conditioner in but skip the argon oil step since there was already so much oil in my hair anyways.  I don't know if this would be good for oily hair.  As long as you stay away from the roots I would think you would be fine.  This is the best treatment for my hair it leaves it looking amazing and not like I have damaged hair/dry hair from bleaching as much as I do.  I let my hair air dry so it is less damaging as possible but you could easily style and go.  Even with using the oil treatment i'm still able to go just about 3 days without washing my hair.  I hope you guys enjoy!!  Do this once a week and I promise your hair will love you!

MY POOR BABY GIRL IS SICK :(

UGGGHHH!! This is what I get for complaining about breaking out!  My daughter gets sick to show me things can get worse lol.  My daughter has had a cold for going on almost a week now.  Yesterday I noticed wheezing and called the doc right away, they made us an appt for 2 hours later.  When we got in my daughters oxygen level was at 96, which isn't HORRIBLE but she is only 16 months and was preemie so it can go downhill very fast.  They instantly put her on a nebulizer and gave her a breathing treatment (which she freakin' HATED) after that they asked tons of questions gave her steroids and did the routine exam.  And yet ANOTHER breathing treatment because she still wasn't breathing clear.  She beyond hated the second one I got headbutted in the chin more times then I can even count and by the end of it she was sweating from fighting so hard.  When everything was said and done this was the conclusion.  Her cold gave her some kind of form oF asthma which is why she was wheezing.  The steroids should help that.  We were sent home with a nebulizer ( I have to give her at home breathing treatments) and she also has a double ear infection.  This is what I get!  The world was like HA Ashley you think that zits are bad, ill show you something even worse lol.  She is doing alright today has had all her meds and a breathing treatment.  She is still as happy as can be.  I'm running on fumes between her and my son but its alright its my job.  And as my son once told me.  I'm supermom!
